Hi everyone. It’s me, Olivia. This was my second lacrosse season, and I had a ball. I wish I could tell you my favorite thing about this sport, but I can’t because I love it all. I love my teammates and working together with them to get better every day. I love playing our games. I even love practice! I also really, really loved that Mommy was one of my coaches.
This year we had players from first grade up to fourth grade, so we were a newer team. We didn’t win any games in our regular season but guess what?! At our end of the year tournament, we won our first game! Then we won again and went into the playoffs! We lost to the championship-winning team, but boy, were we ever proud to go as far as we did. It was like a dream come true! Our team worked really hard over the season, and I loved being a part of it. I made lots of good friends and had THE best time playing with those girls. I am really thankful that I had a chance to play with them.
Do you play any sports? What is your favorite? Do your mom or dad help to coach? I hope so, because then you get extra special time with them. Next to horseback riding, lacrosse is my favorite activity. I can’t wait to hear about your favorites!
