Hi everyone. It’s me, Olivia. We went on a quick little trip to NYC in January to visit Kate. We sure do love her. I got to take her to the American Girl Store for her very first time. I think she liked it. I really hope she did! She’s really special to come with us like that. While we were there, I even bought the Girl of the Year Doll, Kavi, with my own money! She is really pretty, and I am really proud that I bought her all by myself.
After American Girl, Kate took us to Serendipity for dessert. Oh my goodness! Kate got the peanut butter frozen hot chocolate, and it looked delicious. Mommy got the Forbidden Broadway Sundae. It was made with Chocolate Blackout Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Hot Fudge, and Whipped Cream. And I got the Selena Sundae. It was soooooo yummy! It had Cookies and Cream Ice Cream, Banana, Hot Fudge, Cream-filled Cookie Crumbles, Decadent Pink Sugar, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry on Top! None of us could finish our desserts, but we sure had fun trying! What a fun place to visit! We are planning to take my friend Emma there when we go back in the spring. She will love it too!
Mommy said she always wanted to see the NYC Library, so we tried to visit it while we were there, but it was closed. Maybe next time. And we did finally go inside St. Peter’s Cathedral. WOW! It was so beautiful. After our spring trip, we might take a little break from trips to NYC so we can go on adventures to new places we haven’t seen before. Our next trip is to the castle hotel in Quebec. We cannot wait!!! After that, we don’t know where we’ll get to go, but even little adventures close to home are super fun when we do them together.
