Hi everyone. It’s me, Olivia. This fall we took Astro camping at Assateague. He did great! He didn’t really love the ocean so much, but he did love to dig and dig and dig in the sand. And he dug A LOT! Mommy and I flew our jelly fish kite for a while too, and we laid on the beach and talked about all of our big dreams. Every day they feel closer to coming true.
It was pretty cold in the tent that night, so Astro snuggled up under all of the blankets with us. I think he liked when I read Enemy Pie and other books to him before we went to sleep. Sunrise was beautiful as always the next day. And I got to go surfing one last time before the end of the season which was awesome. I know we will be going back to the beach for New Years, but I already kind of miss it. The ocean is so peaceful and me and mommy can just be our goofy, dreamy selves when we’re there.
