Hi everyone. It’s me, Olivia. For our last weekend of summer vacation, Mommy and I spent some time doing a few of our favorite things. We started off with a tennis lesson with the best tennis coach in the world. Coach Holly is absolutely amazing. She is so patient, and she makes learning how to play super fun. We both love her so much.
After tennis, we went to get manis and pedis. It was kind of a splurge, but Mommy said she wanted to do something special for me before I started at my new school. I love when we can do girly things together.
The next day we left for the beach to do some camping at Assateague. For that trip, we camped right on the beach instead of at a spot by the bay. It was pretty cool, but holy cow. Carrying all of our camping gear through the sand to get to our campsite was soooooo hard! Next time we are going back to the bayside campsites for sure. But even though it was hard to get all of our stuff through the sand, we had a really fabulous time. We swam lots, got to see bunches of ponies, road our bikes, flew kites, toasted marshmallows and made s’mores, and of course we had Bayside Skillet for breakfast in the morning. YUM!!! And, as always, we stopped at our favorite market on the way home to feed the goats and buy some sugar baby watermelons. It was a perfect way to end summer break.
